Seems to me (personal opinion) that our esteemed Chairman Of The Board Brian Canfield has been using the hard working lives (past, present & future) of BC TEL and now TELUS employees as his own little play toy.
Brian benefitted from the strength of unions to raise his family in prosparity which allowed him to rise from a rank and file union member to the lofty heights as CEO of BCTel and now Chairman of TELUS.
Brian also saw to the loss of the purchase of Clearnet at $1.9 Billion because he didn't like the then President George Petty (Afraid of the competition??). George wanted to buy it and was ultimately was fired because if it.

Brian suddenly opened up the purse strings and saw to the purchase of Clearnet at $6.6 Billion when Darren wanted it.
Now that Brian's children have found their way in the world or TELUS management it's time to burn down his "House Of Cards" so no will ever be able to follow in his footsteps. Leaving NOTHING left for the hard working people behind him.
